Summer Solo Flight Program

This program is for high school juniors and seniors. The goal is for the student to solo (fly the real aircraft alone) by the end of the program!

Pilot with Plane

Summer Private Pilot Program

For students ages 17 and up, this course presents the opportunity for aspiring pilots to earn 6 college credits and to earn their Private Pilot Certificate in a structured 8-week program.

Premier Flight Academy’s Flight Camp is the best way to spend part of your summer and still have a vacation. You’ll get to have the brand new experience of actually flying an airplane! You will sit in the pilot’s seat, hold the controls and watch the airplane respond to your command. You’ll gain a lot of self-confidence and a lot of great memories. Can you imagine the look on your friends’ faces next fall when you tell them what you did this summer? Sweet!

If you decide to eventually earn your pilot’s license, we guarantee you’ll never be quite the same person. You will have access to a whole new world of personal freedom. Included in all this is a new sense of personal fulfillment. Pushing the old boundaries of your life forward and having the opportunity to plan, seek, and find new experiences that will enrich your life in countless ways. You will gain greater self-reliance and confidence.

Learning to fly an airplane opens the door to a wide variety of career opportunities. Or, flying may also complement your career in business, or even a profession that you have not yet chosen. The possibilities are as limitless as your imagination because, general aviation touches many facets of our lives.

Summer AeroCamp

AeroCamp photo

AeroCamp is designed to give youth ages 12 - 18 a unique opportunity to explore the vast and exciting world of aviation and aerospace at their local airport. As a member of the Flight School Association of North America, Premier Flight Academy is proud to participate in the AeroCamp Program and make AeroCamp available to the kids in our community.

Campers learn firsthand about the dynamics of airplanes and flight; and about the broad spectrum of careers in the aviation and aerospace industry.

We give every camper the chance to fly an aircraft if they choose to. However, flight time is only a fraction of the AeroCamp experience and is not required to have a great learning adventure. AeroCamp also includes a session in the area‘s most modern flight simulator, a visit to the control tower, and guest speakers from various aviation disciplines.

We offer a range of AeroCamp programs to accommodate students’ ages and previous flight experience. Please contact us if you require assistance selecting the most appropriate session.
