Premier Flight Academy is approved to provide flight training to veterans who are qualified under the Montgomery GI Bill and the Post 9/11 GI Bill. We are unable to provide services to participants eligible for Chapter 35 of the Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program or the Yellow Ribbon Program.
Chapter 30/1606/1607 Montgomery GI Bill
Under Chapter 30, the VA will reimburse the enrolled veteran up to 60% of the approved training charges, up to the maximum allowable. It provides up to 36 months of educational benefits and generally benefits are payable for 10 years following your release from active duty.
Chapter 33 Post-9/11 GI Bill
The Post-9/11 GI Bill is for individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on or after September 11. 2001, or individuals discharged with a service connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
Premier Flight Academy’s vocational flight training program is reimbursed up to the full cost of training or $10,000 per academic year, whichever is less, and does not pay for housing or books and supplies. An academic year is defined as the period between August 1st to July 31st.

Flight School Qualification Requirements
In order to qualify for Premier Flight Academy’s flight training program, you must have a private pilot’s license and valid second class medical certification. All training must also follow our approved FAA Part 141 syllabus.
Steps to Enrollment
The first step to receiving GI Bill benefits is to submit
Form 22-1990 if you have never used your VA benefits or; if you have, please submit
Form 22-1995. The approval process can take several months. You should apply as soon as you decide to attend Premier Flight Academy.
