Private Pilot Course

The Private Pilot Course provides aeronautical knowledge for two fundamentals:

• Successful completion of the FAA Airman Knowledge Test.
• Aeronautical knowledge required for earning a Private Pilot Certificate.

Instrument Pilot Course

The Instrument Ground School provides the ground instruction necessary to take and successfully complete the following FAA Airman Knowledge Tests: Instrument Airplane, Instrument Instructor and Instrument Ground Instructor.

This course is also ideal for anyone pursuing their initial or recurrent flight or ground instructor instrument certifications.

Continuing Education Seminars

At Premier Flight Academy good pilots become great pilots by participating in our highly-focused training programs. We strongly believe that it is very important to continue the learning process beyond the checkride. Along with our traditional training programs, we encourage you to sign-up for one of our structured continuing educational seminars.

Pinch Hitters Course

This course is intended for pilot spouses, friends and significant others, or for anyone who has thought about becoming a pilot but doesn't know if it is right for them.

Our experienced Ground School Instructor Ms. Patty Austin teaches this well-established course, which includes explanations of aerodynamics, aviation instruments, radios, and chart reading. Landing the plane will also be discussed.

The basic course lasts 3 weeks, and is taught on either Saturday mornings, or weeknight evenings. Pressed for time? We've added a Condensed Pinch Hitters Course, covering the very basics on one info-packed Saturday.
